Rank: Initial appointment is usually made at the rank of Instructor or Assistant
Professor.
Type of Appointment: We are seeking a full-time English Instructor to teach writing and
literature courses. A strong background in both composition theory and the teaching of
literature, as well as experience teaching on the college level, is required. In
addition, the person hired is expected to contribute to curriculum development and to
serve on departmental, campus, and college committees.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. in English is preferred; a master’s degree in English is required.
Hiring Salary: $41,794- $55,620 ???
